Sola wood flowers are eco-friendly and have a look and feel of their own. Different from real flowers, they will stay vibrant and beautiful forever when taken care of. Each arrangement is unique and uses faux and/or preserved greenery to offer a beautiful alternative to silk flowers for those that are sensitive to scents or are hypoallergenic.

The flowers themselves are made from the roots of a marshy plant found in India and Thailand, which are then cut into thin sheets before being hand-shaped into flowers.

Zinnia is a flower that represents remembrance, of the heart, and is sent to those you miss to remind them that you care about them and love them. Birch represents resilience, growth, and rebirth. Birch is also the state tree of NH where Zinnia & Birch is located.

Zinnia & Birch together represent The Art of Giving and is all about gifting those you love (yourself included) or those you want to give thanks to, something "of the heart" with a touch of elegance that will last forever. No piece is the same and each is made with special care with the receiver in mind.

The owner, Melissa, came across sola wood flowers when looking for an alternative to fresh flowers for her wedding in 2020. She ordered some flowers to see how they were in person and fell in love. Being crafty, she began making her own floral décor and before she knew it, others were requesting some for themselves and Zinnia & Birch was started.

To us, flowers are more than something you grow. They're art. They're what we give when we are looking to brighten someone's day. Our flowers are all of that and more, as they are made to last a lifetime.
